Costa Rica Finca Higueronal
This specialty coffee comes from Oscar Antonio Ureña Ureña's Finca Higueronal , located in the mountainous regions of Tarrazú and Central Valley in Costa Rica. Oscar has been growing coffee since 2008, focusing on experimental, disease-resistant F1 hybrids that offer both resistance and exceptionally nuanced flavors.
The ripe berries of the harvest are hand-picked and delivered to Solis & Cordero Micromill , where they are meticulously processed: the berries are fermented in closed tanks for 96 hours and then dried in the sun on raised beds for approximately 18 days.
