Hario Polaris - digital coffee scale

Hario Polaris is a modern and precise digital coffee scale, designed especially for pour-over coffee preparation. It is ideal for both home baristas and professional use in cafes.

Polaris measures the weight of the coffee and the brewing time simultaneously, and helps achieve the correct coffee-to-water ratio. Set your desired brewing ratio, add the coffee, and the scale will tell you how much water you need. The percentage display also shows in real time how much of the required water has already been poured.

The minimalist and modern design makes Polaris a stylish addition to any coffee station. The matte-finished body is made of high-quality plastic, and silicone feet keep the scale securely in place.

The 165 × 127 mm weighing platform is well suited for various coffee brewing accessories, such as V60 drippers, Chemex, AeroPress, and pour-over kettles.

Three operating modes

Hario Polaris has three different operating modes:

• Manual: the timer is started manually
• Automatic: the timer starts automatically when pouring begins
• Automatic + pour guidance: the scale follows the set coffee-to-water ratio and displays the required amount of water

A clear backlit LCD display shows the time and weight. The measurement accuracy is 0.1 grams, and the maximum capacity is 2 kg.
